The Folsom Cordova Unified School District set out to establish a new education foundation from the ground up—requiring clear purpose, strong governance, and a strategic focus that aligned with district priorities and could sustain long-term community investment.

Strategy
McGowan Impact Consulting partnered with FCUSD to launch the Foundation, working closely with district leadership and the founding board to define the organization’s goals, clarify its strategic focus, and build the early structures needed to operate effectively. This included facilitating planning conversations, developing foundational messaging and materials, and aligning stakeholders around a shared vision for impact.
